🔧 Dremel Rotary Tool Shaft Lock Replacement Assemblies - Pack of 2, Part # 2610009839-2PK Review

This part is plastic which needs to be said. I was hoping for a metal replacement, but no, plastic again. All of that needs to be said.

The Dremel chuck doesn't lock to change bits so I figured it was junk. On a whim I searched the internet for a replacement part and AMAZON DELIVERS IT!

It was a little difficult to get the latch and spring into the correct position so that the shaft lock knob retracts and effectively locks the shaft. Be patient and test it several times before fully reassembling it.

Would recommend to anyone who has been pressing the locking button on a Dremel 3000 and it just slips off and cannot remove Dremel attachments. Installation of the shaft lock was very easy, the parts look and feel just as good as the original parts. For the price of two you can't go wrong, especially if you use your Dremel on a daily basis.
