Magnets have been removed - you get what you pay for

Sorry you get what you pay for. I bought these to have some spare bit holders for all my drill bits, but after minimal use (sometimes just two or three drywall screws) one of two bad things happened: 1) the magnet would break, rendering the bit holder unusable 2) The chrome bit holder would detach from the bottom (hex that goes into the cartridge). It's worth a try, but I can't recommend it.

Pros
  • Unlimited uses in automobiles, appliances, hobbies, home etc.
Cons

Don't forget to look for your bat.

I was glad to get them because I never have them when I need them. They work great (rather, they should have been made where they at least don't work). But they use a magnet to hold the bits. And he's not very strong. This is how I turned the screw and 50% of the time I had to take the bit out of the screw and put it back in the holder. After playing around for a while, I found that if I pulled the driver correctly, I could increase my chances of getting some of this. But a stronger or more…

Pros
  • A strong magnet holds the bits securely and the magnet itself is housed in a chrome tube.

Hardly magnetic, DO NOT BUY

I want to read the reviews. I had NO problems with the attachments. my tool bag, that's probably the reason. I had a HUGE problem with the lack of magnetism not holding my screws. I put the screw on the tip, and before I can get it to the surface I'm screwing in, the screw falls off. I buy magnetic bits to keep the rib screw on the tip while my other hand holds what I'm drilling together. I used two of these before realizing how bad they really are, the rest go in the trash. It turns out to be…

Pros
  • Ideal for working with hard-to-reach screws.
Cons
  • It was possible to choose a newer model

5 stars for the price

These aren't the best bit holders you can buy, but they're worth it for 10 usable bit holders for $8.99. Less commonly used tips so they're installed and ready to go without wasting $5 on a tip you can only use a few times a year. They're also great for borrowing tips, so it's not the end of the world if you don't return them. The magnets are fine, hold the tip and most screws well. The case they came in is actually perfect for holding my good bit tips and bit holders, but I had to make a small

Pros
  • Essential accessory for drills and impact wrenches.
