Not ironed while sewing

Gave the project up for the holidays. "We tried to engrave our names on cotton burlap Christmas stockings. Followed brief instructions but didn't work. Very disappointed.

A few edges of the letters are bent.

A few letter edges are bent after washing and drying clothes. I followed the instructions carefully to glue properly. The clothes were also pre-washed.

washable, suitable for needlework

I bought them to make a photo album for a Christmas present and I really liked them. nice and big with a unique font. I smoothed them straight onto the fabric covered photo album and they adhere perfectly and look great. However, I used some other letters to line up my apron for work and they were completely gone after about 3 washes.

It takes a lot of warmth and a lot of patience!

Works great on cotton if you have a hot iron and lots of time. I put a piece of cardboard under my shirt to hold the iron in place and pressed each letter for at least 45 seconds. I did that three times, then turned the shirt inside out and pressed the letters on the back for 30 seconds each. I then turned the t-shirt over and removed the plastic once the letters had completely cooled. Finally, I slipped a thin t-shirt over the letters and pinched all the edges to secure them. The process took…

Difficult to work with

I give them 2 stars just because they are cute. This is the thinnest letter iron I have ever used and it is so difficult to place it perfectly. It took me an hour to iron three words while other letters took 20 minutes to iron. They're just very difficult to handle and very easy to break/tear, and there aren't many letters in this pack, so yeah. But they are cute when you fit them perfectly and maybe it would be easier if I just said one word instead of three, but they are still hard to work…

Looks great but won't last on jerseys

Instructions were easy to follow and my finished product looked amazing! For a day. The letters began to loosen and tear. I applied the letters to a stretch jersey baby jumpsuit. I think the source of the problem was the stretch. If I glued the letters to non-stretchable fabric, I'd love that. One thing the instructions don't tell you is that you don't have to cut the letters perfectly. Just cut them off enough to separate them from other letters. The edges can be wide and torn - they come…

Pros
  • Embellishments and embellishments
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

This is my first official review! I was forced to write something because I spent about 1 hour ironing 5 letters last night but to no avail. I've even "googled" and "seen on YouTube" the correct methods for ironing letters, but still couldn't remove the plastic from most. I started ironing the front of the t-shirt, then turned the t-shirt over and ironed the back for 20 seconds to blend the letters, waited for the letters to cool, then peeled them off. Some came out just fine with crumpled…
