Dritz 608 Ripper Small Multicolor Review

I used this to trim the elastic off my daughter's hair to prevent hair breakage and it does just that. It slips right under the elastic straps and takes them off easily, and it doesn't even feel sharp so I don't have to worry about accidentally bumping into it.

My Maine Coon got sick every time we took him to the barber so I bought a pet razor but he runs out of the room when I turn it on. I bought this in Brick and Mortar and it's the same size as the one I used in the 80's. The tip is beveled to slip under the seam and then pushed further in to get to the sharp part. Perhaps some of the bad reviews are related to arthnic hands, that would be hard to understand, but I think ripping a seam would be just as difficult, if not more so, given the need for grip and precise movement.
