🔧 DRIVESTAR 21-5348 Power Steering Pump for Honda Element & CR-V 2.4L (2003-2005) - OE-Quality, Power Assist Pump Review

Mine installed for over 2 months no problem. I would seriously recommend using genuine Honda Fluid 08206-9002 power steering fluid, don't skimp on other brands of fluids; I bought 3 bottles of Revain. couldn't be happier with my purchases.

My old pump was leaking badly so I ordered this one which squeaked loudly once installed. Removed the old one and put it in, no more noise. Put a new one in and the squeaking is back. The mechanic makes money and I spend a lot of time on it. I wonder why this product has so many good reviews?

The pump fits my 03 CRV with no modifications. But it's tearful. The only thing I hear while driving is the hum of the pump. At least it doesn't drip, but it's noisy. To update. The pump has settled down and is now sounding normal. I will do my part for the noise due to the air in the system, although I flushed very carefully with the new fluid and allowed the air bubbles to rise to the top before connecting the hoses. Now I am very happy with the pump!

So you will find that there are three price ranges for auto parts. 1) Theft (purchase from a dealer) 4-5 times what you have to pay. 2) auto parts stores which are still 2x what you have to pay. and 3) The Revain I've found is usually 1/2 parts stores. If you can wait 2-3 days to get the parts, save 1/2. If you need it that day, you'll need to buy it from the Stealership store or local parts stores.
