Worked fine but had to correct the hole alignment

I found the hole alignment was slightly off when I went to install. A bit of work with the drill solved my problem and the ignition coil worked fine.

Cons

They said it would fit but had to redo it.

Will not fit 98 Dodge Ram 1500 as advertised. I had to drill one of the two mounting holes and bend the first two layers of metal. It managed to flatten and smooth out. Works after installation.

Pros
  • Coil Kits
Cons
  • Obsolete model

It should be more about quality than quantity.

This is how the coil works. Was stranded and needed a roll. Okay, works great compared to the old spool that split in half at the top. Even if the quality sucks. None of the screw holes match my factory mount. I ended up having to drill 1/16 inch more screw holes to screw it to the bracket. If I hadn't been stuck in traffic at the time, I probably would have returned the item and received a refund. I would choose quality over quantity any day.

  • Automotive
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model
