This one is the best OE standard replacement for OE:LX203. Ignition modules will respond to a weak signal from the crankshaft position sensor and begin energizing. Ignition modules are durability tested for 500 thermal cycles ranging from -40C to +125C. High-temperature polymer housing reducing moisture intrusion and minimizes vibration damage for extended. Copper slug heat sinks provide better heat dissipation to prevent heat from damaging the module.

Seems to be good quality, fits me well.

Seems to work fine. The three bolt holes were slightly smaller than the original Ford I replaced. Felt more premium than the Duralast brand which I also bought. It holds up, I would give it 5 stars.

Minimal packaging is best for spare parts

Well it's cheap and it really works. I have a 1982 f100 4.9 and a 1983 f150 4.9. I ordered 2 of these and the first one worked great. The second came with broken clips due to poor packaging. Replaced by another. Stuffed very tightly in a box and envelope. No packaging or bubble wrap was used at all, but the first (and third) are said to work with no issues so far.

Failed after just one month

Installed to replace the old Motorcraft block that was on the car. The machine worked fine for a month until this box broke and I was stranded. I drove home and returned on a whim, installed the old block (1983) on the curb and drove the car home. It worked fine. I do not recommend this device if you want your car to run reliably. Just stick with the old block.

Works great with ignition parts

This is the lowest price I could get for an ignition module other than going to the store and buying it. I have a possum infestation and need an electric fence charger that's hotter and cheaper than the manufacturer's chargers, so I hooked it up to a 45,000 volt ignition coil using an old high beam as a ballast resistor and it works beautifully, the orange ones and purple pickup sensor wires are polarized like a battery and should be properly connected. I used a bike tail light as the 555 timer
