I gifted this to my hospital daughter who showers as soon as she gets home from the hospital. She wanted to make a pillowcase out of towels when she goes to bed with a wet head. She loves it.

A liner on the inside of the towel and more "satin" on the opposite side, both are very plastic/wrinkle/make noise. But if that doesn't bother you, it sounds like a pillowcase would protect your pillows well.

I really like this pillowcase. I have very long and thick hair and washing before bed became a nightmare because it got my usual pillowcase (and pillow) soaked through. This pillowcase helps absorb a lot of excess moisture while I sleep. I am planning to buy one for my sister.

I love to shampoo my hair when I shower at night and wake up with dry hair. This REALLY worked for me. Some days I use a fine mist spray to lightly moisturize and add products if I need them that day. I no longer have to look at the clock and try to let my hair dry faster. Now I can just sleep while they dry. **Use a good conditioner and comb well before "putting in the hay".

I love this product. I often dye my hair and prefer to shower at night, so all my pillows are stained with blood. It's such a great way to go to bed with wet hair without ruining your pillows. Then if part of the towel gets soiled with paint, I can hide that part when I make the bed. Highly recommended! Much more comfortable than sleeping in a hair towel. So for its intended purpose this item gets 5 stars and is not crumpled at all. I was concerned about the sonic/sensory part of the waterproofing and it's not a problem.
