Perfect for a 90's themed party I was at - much quicker and more efficient than the ones I had as a kid! I was surprised. I have very long and thick hair and was able to curl it pretty thoroughly in about 25 minutes. Of course it was worth it, I dressed like an early BMW Topanga and got loads of compliments on my hair!

I checked ALL the tongs / straighteners and decided to test this D-Show device. I only ordered one but somehow two were ordered and shipped to me. After opening the Amazon box, I saw a beautiful black box with the plates - a real machine - and instructions! First of all, although this product is clearly advertised as CERAMIC, it is TITANIUM. The second problem is USELESS ADDRESSES. Say: To replace the iron plates, "Remove the double-sided cover." Shows a pickaxe with the covers removed, but it's not entirely clear how to remove them. It is NOT possible to find out. I really wanted this product and had high hopes for it. But I can't even try because I can't put the right disk in. So everything is back! I cry with shame.

I love this thing! I have fine, thin, and medium length hair that looks flat and has a hard time holding curls. These curling irons add incredible volume and texture! So far I've tried all three crimping plates but not the hair straightener. I've only used the second heat setting on myself (160°C) and it really holds up. Bought on a whim for an 80's themed themed party. It was perfect! My daughter has very thin hair, so before curling, I sprayed each strand with hairspray and then parted them with my fingers for a voluminous, backcombed effect. Her hair was a hit! The style lasted the next day and she loved it.

Unbelievable price and it works great! I use it on my daughter's head so I use the lowest temp which is still pretty hot! The panels are easy to change and good for controlling the desired wave strength.
