High-quality splitter for satellite TV

I am satisfied with the splitter. They even include a cable adapter so it can be used abroad. This is a nice feature not typical for US sales.

Pros
  • Makes you happy
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model

Doesn't separate 4k as written

I have a 4k TV and a 4k monitor, both work fine when connected to a computer. When connected to a splitter, however, the resolution drops to HD, not 4k.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Very expensive

Very satisfied. Suitable for Satellite TV

Used to connect my 65" Panasonic Plaza and Samsung 43" 4K UHD. Worked as stated. This doesn't seem to affect the picture quality. I tried another brand's product but it was either defective or just a bad product. I have returned my purchase.

Pros
  • Permanent Test Results
Cons
  • No

Requires frequent reboots and TVs are out of order

I have connected this to two 4k TVs and am getting good performance when it works. However, I get a blank screen almost every time I turn the TV on, and thankfully, if I unplug it and then plug it back in, the TV turns back on. There is also a small owl problem. I've lived with this problem and tried all different settings, but if you're looking for a 4k splitter I'd look at others.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Not sure

Works for audio and video

This did exactly what I wanted. My receiver doesn't have HDMI 2.0, so I couldn't connect my devices to my 4K TV through it. My TV has an HDMI output, but the Arc protocol didn't work well with my receiver. I ended up with an HDMI 2.0 splitter with 5x1 so I could connect all my devices to my TV and then 1x2 so I could stream audio to my receiver. I just wish I could find a 2.0 5x2 splitter then I could simplify things a bit.

Really Awesome: Audio & Video Accessories

This month I made a dual monitor setup to fit three devices on any two monitors, usually just *one* monitor at a time. With at least two identical 4k@60hz monitors, this works like a champ. I've ordered two cheaper brands before, and even one that specifically stated that 4k@60hz might not even work directly on the monitor. This goes from the device to this splitter to two 5x1 switches to the monitors. C. No problem. I'm about to order two more after hitting send.

Pros
  • Audio & Video Accessories
Cons
  • So far so good

Good product - but still reduces the sound to the minimum required.

I bought this device to split an HDMI signal into two "full" signals at the same time. One for the TV, the other for the receiver. I wanted full Dolby Digital Plus for the receiver. The TV just needs a stereo. Unfortunately, the signal to the receiver is down-converted to the signal sent to the TV - stereo. I can set the firestick to only play Dolby Digital Plus and it works through the receiver, but the TV doesn't play any sound. You'll have to adjust the audio on the Firestick each time to go

Pros
  • Satellite TV
Cons
  • Some little things
