Exactly what I needed but too expensive.

I don't understand why this type of item is so hard to find. If you can finally find one, they are so expensive. I use them in my art classes to finish off finished works and lino cut prints. This works great, don't get me wrong. However, it's just a piece of plastic. It shouldn't be that expensive.

  • This is great

Great way to finish watercolors

I love how deckle edges look on watercolor paper. This longer edge makes it easier to tear off the edge! This gives the finished painting a professional look. Higher quality papers are a bit difficult to tear, but with some effort I found my own way to do it. I can definitely recommend the deckle edge ripper!

Expensive but good product for painting, drawing and art supplies

Very good quality handmade paper ruler. I wouldn't pay that much if there were other options, but for some reason this product is the only game in town. Not a single art store even sells decals. This ruler works well and gives the right texture to cotton watercolor paper. My only complaint is that it is sooooo expensive! That's at least twice what I would reasonably expect.

Amazing Tool: Watercolor Paper

This is an amazing ruler that works great on every paper I've tried. The break follows the shape of the ruler exactly, giving you full control over the size of the final part. It's long enough for larger paper and thick enough for heavier paper. Just press firmly on the exact spot and work slowly step by step. You'll have the perfect edge every time! Amazing, thanks!

  • Watercolor Paper
Cons
  • Questionable Purchase for Seniors

Lighter than a ruler and water

I usually make straight cut handmade paper by folding the paper over a metal ruler, brushing the edges with a brush, waiting a little, and then slowly tearing it out. You won't get that nice, feathery edge, but that can be quickly achieved with some sort of jagged edge, like a tape dispenser. Without having to crumple or wet the paper, I was able to completely outline a 10" sheet of paper in seconds. The only thing I want is bumpiness. looks like a teardrop, but it saves me money from having to
