To tell the truth I bought these because I thought they looked less girly than most and I wanted them when we go to our cabin as the colors were perfect, silly reason, after to grab a set of makeup brushes, but honestly. This makeup brush set that comes with 3 sponges and a case is a really good deal - in fact, they cost about $2 each and are better quality than what you could ever buy at a dollar store. I have cheap (Elf, Wet and Wild, Revlon) and expensive brushes (Mac, Trish McEvoy, and one by Shu Umera that I hate to think how much I spent on) and it falls somewhere in between and in the middle. Some cases are better than expensive ones.
