The post slot size fits perfectly, but the screws are too small, new ones bought use wider ones

I've only had the item 1 week but the excellent quality and the size of the post slot seems perfect but the screws are too small so I bought new wider ones to use

Doesn't work for us in hardware

Very strong letter box The door opens very hard and it will be difficult for the postman to open it with one hand The spring is very tight The long ones Screws were barely long enough to go through the door and catch on the other side. A screw is broken and needs to be replaced. The internal door valve is useless and just requires extra work. We just don't like that.

High Quality Stainless Steel Door Letter Box

This mail slot was installed on the front door of the dental office. The quality of the mailbox was very good. This stainless steel version of the male slot is nice and wide and has a flap both inside and outside the door so it's a very clean setup. The postal worker who delivers in the area seems to have no problem picking up the mail.

Looks Nice, Difficult to Install

This letter slot looks very good and the price is insanely good. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of a small flaw in the design (in my opinion). The front and back plates are absolutely flat (a cut sheet of steel). Consequently, there is no rim at the same depth as the hinges holding the wings. This means you will need to cut a hole larger than the area where these hinges will be so you can screw the panels to the wall. We didn't want to fiddle with the pre-existing…
