One of my dogs loves car rides but will jump out the window when tempted. He weighs 45 pounds and is medium height. I bought the large size which gives him enough wiggle room to stand on the door and stick his head out the window far enough, but not enough to give him a chance to even try to jump. Now we have one for each machine. When I take all four on a car trip, I buckle everyone in my car seat so they don't have to change seats. Everyone is alive and happy!

These dog harnesses are great. They are well made, adjustable and durable. My Schnauzers have Out Bounder car seats for my car, but getting the seats from my car into Big Daddy's truck was always a hassle. When I saw these car seat belts I had to try them. I'm so glad I did. No matter what car we use, I know my kids will be safe. I use seat belts with her harness. I would never have attached it to the collar so as not to hurt my neck if we had to stop quickly.

I've been using this harness on my dog for four years and it paid off today. Another car went ahead of me on the track and while my car was being smashed up my dog was in the back seat wearing that seat belt and she wasn't hurt. She is currently sleeping peacefully next to me (after painful treats, hugs and kisses) and I am certain this would not have happened if she had not been strapped in the back seat with this product. Thanks to the manufacturer of this wonderful seat belt!

Great product! Very happy with the quality of the material and the adjustable length. We use a harness in our RV. The adjustable length is great and gives our dog enough room to move and exercise (a little) while cruising down the street. This harness easily attaches at one end to an existing harness and harnesses we use on the dog. We're confident it will withstand its 65 pounds if it's ever tested - let's hope it never gets tested :-). We love the idea that it can be easily moved from vehicle

Of course we've only used it three times so far, but overall I'm impressed. They arrived well packaged. Appearance is exactly what I expected from pictures and reviews. The max and min lengths are good and honestly shouldn't be too long for an item like this as the aim is to keep your dog in place and prevent him from breaking his neck if you break quickly and he accumulates a lot of slack. Dutchy's PetsLovers Premium Pet Seat Belt appears to be very well made and has held our little 15lb Miniature Australian Shepherd extremely well. We shortened the harness slightly to keep our pup from jumping off the seat onto the floor of the car. She loved that she didn't have to travel in the carrier we usually use. In my opinion, the material quality and workmanship of this belt is much better than others. It's not too wide or too narrow, the hardware is premium and solidly built, the fabric is supple yet strong, plus the edges are finished and the stitching is perfect. This is the 3rd one I've tried.
