This induction hob is easy to use!

I really like this new hob. I depend on oxygen and had to do without my fancy new gas cooker for safety reasons. I'm a total sucker for cooking on electric stoves due to the lack of response to heat so didn't want to buy. I was scared to try induction cooking but it's easy! I can do it! I am very satisfied (grade 5) and can recommend it to everyone.

Pros: -Food comes out great -Great for first time induction cookers -Clean -Convenient -Looks modern and professional -Not too expensive Cons: -Some buzzing sound depending on the heat set (or maybe the type of pans I use) - 3 burners wouldn't be bad Final thoughts: - I recommend this product - See the pictures for reference.

Excellent control. Big enough for 2 large pots!

We have had a burner for 8 years. We used it daily. However, it stopped working and we decided to replace it with a double block. I was very happy to find the same brand as our old one in a double size. Wow what a great purchase. You can get two big pots on it! The controls are amazing as you can control the temperature or the usual high, medium and low temperatures. There is also a great cooking function and a timer. This is a great purchase for us and we have been using it for several weeks.

Works differently than my old single induction burners though.

I have two old Duxtop burners one of which broke down after many uses and they worked so well I decided to buy this new two burner model but it doesn't heat up as quickly like mine old single burner. Not sure if it's on purpose, but I've found that it doesn't boil water as quickly and pans don't heat up as quickly. One example I noticed is when I tried to pop popcorn in a pan and it didn't even pop on the highest setting. I pulled out one of my old working Duxtop singles and it started popping…

Great for curry banishment Cooking

So that's how I decided to experiment in my kitchen and break away from American food. The first batch of curry was prepared at home. The woman was unhappy. Ordered to be able to do this and first use was yesterday. I put it outside yesterday and made a curry for my friends outside. Duxtop combined with Copper Chef utensils did more than just do the job. The oil gets hot very quickly. The temperature on the left burner allows you to crank it up. Everything burned well. The 1000-watt burner on…

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Some cons

On a good burner to keep the temperature, it fluctuated in the range of 30° (ie set at 200°, you'll see between 190-210°) with 0/100% blow; create an unusual and frustrating dining experience. It heats up the pan quickly, but without anything other than the pan to keep it warm, the pan cools just as quickly. This means you get consistently hot/cold/sizzling/cold/sizzling/cold cooking. The other burner was defective and did not exceed 70° until it was increased to 200°, after which it…

Pros
  • Nice look
Cons
  • Almost never

I have had one (a hob) for 2-3 years now. In the beginning it took me some time to learn how to cook on it. Understanding how long it took the pan to heat up, what each of the settings means in terms of relative heat, etc. After that, unless I'm doing something in the Instant Pot, I ended up cooking with one pan/pot. (another great product). I had no issues with the quality of my single hob. It looks almost the same as it came out of the box except for a few scuffs on it showing it has been…
