🚀 Dynomax Ultra Flo 17263 Performance Exhaust Muffler Review

I didn't like using the steel strap connectors that you have to buy to fit my JK Jeep. I ended up welding it in place to set a solid brick so there's no rumble. Know where you will install it and consider where you will place it before you buy it. Sounds deep and good on my jeep.

Even for a muffler this Dynomax is of very poor quality. The ends of the whistles have never had burrs and are razor sharp on the edges. The center seam is creased because it was never properly gathered. I just hope it doesn't leak otherwise I'll have to weld the whole seam. I would return it but I need it to complete the project and I don't have time to look for a replacement.

I replaced the Borla muffler with this one and while I was happy with the Borla this one is much better. The tones are deeper (and a bit louder). The performance when excelling seems to be even better. My only complaint is that it started discoloring almost immediately. After a few months, only about half of them are silver. The other is black and purple. Is this normal with this damper? My Borla has never done this after 2 years with the same jeep in the same place. A NOTICE. The picture shows

Installed this on a 2004 Mazdaspeed Miata to replace the stock muffler. I didn't remove the muffler completely, but I wanted to make the exhaust sound louder. It worked great. Tip: The silencer has a very nice, almost reflective surface. Because of this, they come with a thin plastic film cover. This is necessary so that it does not get scratched during transport. This muffler sounds great. I installed it on a 2015 Wrangler JKU. Very quiet, bassy sound at idle, mid-throttle sounds GOOD and a nice howl on top. Virtually silent at cruising speed. I installed this in my 2012 Jeep Wrangler JK 2 door. I replaced the resonator with this muffler and completely removed the stock OEM muffler. The goal was to improve the sound by removing the heavy, unsightly rear muffler. I left the exhaust pipe that originally connected to the rear muffler and attached it to the Dynomax muffler.
