Review on πŸš€ Dynomax Ultra Flo 17263 Performance Exhaust Muffler by Bill Roberts

Revainrating 5 out of 5

GREAT sound for exhaust systems and parts

This muffler sounds great. I installed it on a 2015 Wrangler JKU. Very quiet, bassy sound at idle, mid-throttle sounds GOOD and a nice howl on top. Virtually silent at cruising speed. Here's a review of how I installed it: Jeep Life Trick of the Day: Cheap, Easy, Homemade Exhaust I thought I'd share this exhaust hack that will make your 3.6 sound better for less than $100. Things you will need: 2. Dynomax 17263 Ultra Flo Silencer ($60-$70) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000CIV5RC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=12. 2 2.5" tape clips ($7-8 each) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000CQHUYG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=13. cut line) 4. Some kind of Wd-40 or PB BlasterFirst remove the stock muffler aka "full diapers" it's just a screw, pull out two followers and twist a little (here comes Wd-40 handy Then measure the length of the new muffler (body part only), this was about 16.5" or so. Make cuts around the resonator, about 0.5" longer than the size of the body (to give you some clearance give when you snap the pipes on.) Cut out the resonator and slip the new muffler into the pipe ends you just cut, wrap each end in zip ties, tighten and you're done! The whole process takes 20-30 minutes (or more if you don't like the old muffler) and it doesn't require removing or lowering the exhaust pipe to perform the replacement.A note on expectations: it won't wi It will sound like a V8, but it will sound MUCH better than a standard muffler, plus you can actually hear the exhaust, which is important when driving a manual transmission. .Have fun!
