Dyson Nozzle Assembly Floor Dc40 Review

I love it! I was wondering why my Dyson is misbehaving. By the time I flipped it all the wheels fell off. I'm so glad I didn't scratch my hardwood floor! I just installed this new part and now my vacuum is like new again! I love that Revains price was a lot cheaper than anywhere else. No shipping cost and I received it in 2 days. If I had ordered it directly from Dyson I would have had to pay retail and shipping and wait 7-10 days to get it! No, I will buy Revain!

The small shaft that turns the longer impact shaft on my Dyson DC40 broke. Either the Golden Retriever's long-term coat or a fresh dryer sheet that has tightened caused the damage. I was happy to find an OEM replacement which arrived two days later. BASIC! One reviewer said the red retaining clip didn't come with his attachment. Mine came with this clip so I kept the original in case the new one gets damaged in the more frequent cleaning I will be giving this 3 year old Dyson vacuum.

Most of the small rollers on my Dyson DC40 broke on both the soleplate and main nozzle assembly and I couldn't find replacements. Almost everything else about the original injector assembly still seemed fine, so I was disappointed that I had to spend about $75 to replace the entire assembly. The rollers on the new build have metal axles instead of plastic axles, so I shouldn't run into the same problem in the future. What can I say, it fits, it sucks, I just know it's not what my first engine was capable of. I expect my vacuums to work well and I will clean and maintain them regularly. Until then, the original worked flawlessly and made me believe in Dyson. Didn't get a chance to get back to this part in time to see if I just got a lemon or if everything was in 2nd gear. I'll keep using it and just go over the surfaces a few times until I can't take it anymore or have an opportunity to upgrade. This model…

I was very hesitant to buy as I thought there was something wrong with it. It costs $30 less than listed on the Dyson website. I have a DC40 and managed to burn the rollerbar on one side after heavy use 6 times a week for 2.5 years. I couldn't find the exact part I needed so I decided to buy a new main unit.
