Difficult to open, tips fall off

I needed a strong clip for large dog food bags. They were the perfect size but the plastic tips fell off right away, I think I'll super glue them on. Also, I make a living from massage, so I have strong arms, but I can't open them more than an inch with one hand.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Easily wrinkled

Heavy Duty Spring

If you have strong hands, this is for you. If not, consider it a challenge! I bought them to attach lights and they do a great job but they are very difficult to compress. That's good, but not for every application. The clamping force seems to be very strong.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Defective

Very difficult to open Good for spring clips

Ok these are great clips but very difficult to open yourself when trying to fasten a project. They definitely hold things together, but they're hard to pull apart. I had hoped for an easier use of my books. If you are using this for blind books or bookbinding projects I may choose a different set of clips. I can use them for garage projects with wood materials.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Holds up very well!

I love these clips. My main problem with them is myself - I don't have the arm strength to open them wide enough to pinch anything. I used them to attach plastic sheeting to a 2" x 2" frame for a temporary greenhouse. Other than that it's a very good clamp and my husband has used several for woodworking projects over the years. They are sturdy and hold up well!

Pros
  • clips
Cons
  • small parts

Well built but too difficult to open

They are strong but too difficult to open compared to others we've had. I had to step on them to open them and my husband was able to open them but it was difficult. I ordered these because the rubber pads were missing from the others we had but ended up using the rubber pads from them in place of the missing ones as they were too stiff to be used reasonably and I wouldn't buy them again .

Pros
  • Tools and Housewares
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

Extremely strong and difficult to open

I have very strong hands, I'm the person you go to to open a pickle jar... However, I found these clips very difficult to open. I was going to return them but ended up swapping them with another photographer buddy who I thought could use them better as I really can't open them effortlessly and it doesn't work in the middle of a job. If you're looking for crazy grip, this is perfect, especially if you're, say, three times my strength. If you want something with more grip this would be a 5 starโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Spring clips
Cons
  • Quick instructions
