Building regulations require

Good product, delivery on time! There's even a "subscription" option. From what I understand, you have to use 3.5" nails to comply with the code. I will order more. I recommend!

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Fine

Proven Porter Cable FR350

We borrowed a Porter FR350 cable from a relative to frame our basement. Although it says it requires 21 degree nails, we later learned that it works with 20-22 degree nails. When we were looking for 21 degree nails this was the best deal and the nails worked fine with no major issues.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

Worked great for me and the cat

My son and I built an outdoor cage for his cat using 2"x4" as the frame. We used these 3-1/2 nails to attach the boards to the floor and to each other. They were the right size and we had no problem with the air nail gun. No traffic jams. My only complaint is the small pieces of plastic that sometimes got under the head of a nail. never mind It was a street cage, not a display one. I have a future project planned for a storage shed. I will use nails without hesitation.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • unreliable

Clamping nails into nail gun with four residue per strip

I had high hopes for these nails. I do a lot of repairs and have bought several boxes of 3 1/2 inch galvanized nails. I use a Metabo nailer (Hitachi) and while I'm not sure if it's a nailer or nails, it annoys me that I'm wasting four or five nails per plank. I have to be careful when driving the nails in and reload the nailer before it sinks too deep and starts to stick. I'm ready to ditch the nailer and nails and switch to paper strip nails and another nailer.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Good, don't know how to rate it

Nails and holders should be of good quality. I have an issue where the last 3 nails in the holder keep causing the nail gun to jam. Not sure if the nail gun or the nails are to blame. I'm a new user of frame nailers and went through a box of these nails and every last strip burned great except for the last 3 nails on each strip. As a new user, this is my first nailer and first time using these nails. I love them up to the last three :) but I have no idea if my problem is related to nail…

Pros
  • For use in 20-22 degree plastic nailers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Very pleased with the nail gun's holding power and functionality

The nails sent to me arrived quickly and well packaged. Free shipping was an added bonus. Country of origin - Canada. The nails have excellent grip and durability for my application (framing a new 500 sq ft, 9 ft high room with 2x6 lumber). I have a Campbell Hausfeld 21 degree 3.5 x .131 inch nail gun and it worked great. The door fitter commented positively on the quality of the frame. I don't have a local supplier of 3.5 inch strips with 21 degree nails. I only needed a few hundred nails that

  • Hot-dip galvanized finish that resists corrosion and rusting. For indoor and outdoor use. Designed for use in treated wood

Questionable quality

Product was packaged in a plain box with no manufacturer's name despite B&C Eagle listed on Revain's website. On the outside of the box there was indeed a clear warning that the unnamed manufacturer does not guarantee the electroplating against wear and tear for any period. The nails themselves appeared to have a very thin coating of zinc and were not particularly well aligned in the strip. (They weren't all parallel to each other) I haven't used them so can't tell if misalignment caused any…

Pros
  • New and improved packaging helps protect product during shipping
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
