This is the only detergent we no longer use to wash clothes. It's difficult to get to the store when you live on a farm, but with Prime, it's always easy to have laundry detergent on hand. It holds up well and lasts about 6 months before we need more and this soap cleans well and the gray water is still safe to use on plants!

We've been using this since my baby was born, although Amazon originally sold a much larger container - a big square one with a faucet. That was enough for a year in a family of 3 with one child. If you can find it anywhere I highly recommend buying it and then just refilling it with these gallon containers. Our clothes don't smell of anything. And they are obviously clean. I've even seen some amazing stains washed away.

Ecos is great! There is no smell, only freshness. It works with our draining washer (all our plants thrive), I only need 1 ounce to clean a large load in my HE washer. But the best part is that if I pour some detergent directly onto the stain, even an old stain, it almost always removes the stain!
