🚪 Sliding Barn Door Handle by EaseLife Review

This is a very good grip and the flat back is the main reason I bought it along with dozens of others. This part does not disappoint. One minor downside - the jambs that attach the handle to the door weren't perfectly aligned. Luckily, the discrepancy was small, and the included "bases" covered the small gap that was created. Docked 1 star for less than excellent quality control.

While I hate that style of handle (double T-bars) this product is well made and matches the rest of the drawer and cabinet handles in my house. I wanted the barn door handle to look the same as the rest of the house so I bought this product. It's well made, with a flat piece (so you don't have to use a door cutter like the others).

As a long time handyman, this is a very forgiving design that makes installation much easier. The design makes it easy to place the handle correctly even if the mounting holes are drilled significantly larger or misaligned, or even correct if the holes are drilled out of line. After the extreme precision required for the set of sliding door tracks I chose to install, this handle was ridiculously simple.

Everything about it was great - easy installation, looks, quality. Best of all, you only need to drill two holes; everything is surface mount. I looked at some other pulls and handles that required a slot in the door. We weren't sure if we were sure of that, so it was a good decision. I knew it was big when I ordered it, but I was still surprised at how big it really is.

We installed a pull on a heavy 34" MDF door with 5 liter toughened glass for a new linen closet with no internal metal panel as no one will be entering locks it behind itself. Not only does it look really impressive, but it also withstands regular wet conditions. The second handle is on a heavy 42” MDF door with 5 liter toughened glass using an internal metal plate.
