Ideal for Pi 3 and Pi 4.

The pads and fins stick firmly to the surface. It dissipates heat well without burning the glue used to glue it, which is definitely an important consideration for any radiator. The copper pads are useless on the Pi 4 as the design is different. So don't expect them to come in handy if you only buy these for the 4b model. Combine them with an actively cooling GPIO fan and you get the best cooling you can get for your small pocket computer.

Very bad glue, do not recommend

Tried to glue this to some RAM modules on the graphics card, removed the blue tab to reveal the glue and inserted it, pressed lightly and the second that I flipped the GPU to install it on the motherboard, these things just fell off.

  • Always liked

Inefficient like Free Air radiators

Don't waste your time. These are great looking heatsinks and are easy to fit. However, they do not reduce the operating temperature of the Raspberry Pi. Consider saving a few bucks to spend on something else for your project. I have used dozens of RPi 3B+ and four RPi 4B in different applications. They all record operating parameters such as CPU temperature on a central server. The following test results aren't "gosh, I feel like they don't do anything." Test results are hard, undeniable…

Works fantastic with a little modification

They work fine when used as intended, slight temp drop but nothing crazy. I use them a little differently than I should. They are used in combination with a Nespi case + For the chip on the bottom (RAM I think) I installed two small black heatsinks with their original thermal pads. For the processor, I removed the thermal pad and added a small amount of mx-4 thermal pad. insert in the hope that it actually lowers the CPU temperature. And yes, it works much better. I did the same with the small…

Copper Plate - 4 Heatsinks

Bought for the second P4B. Canakit includes 3 heatsinks. There is no copper plate. copper plate effective? Preliminary conclusion. With 1 small heatsink for 4 P4B 2. Canakit 5*+, imo. P4B 2 is the same, IMHO. P4B 2 is more difficult to get running. But EDUCATIONAL.

  • Absolutely Amazing!

Heatsinks Galore: Fans and Cooling

Do you know all those heatsinks your Pi kit should come with to solve thermal problems? That's what you're missing, what you need to install. They fit perfectly, attach and stay attached, and help when using your Pi in a way that turns it into a small heater.

Very Efficient

I noticed that there is a chip on the bottom of my Raspberry Pi 3B+ that gets very hot and I suspected the Pi was slowing down due to excessive heat. I didn't think I had enough room under the board for a finned heatsink (although I probably did), so I used a flat copper heat spreader. It worked - the hotspot is much more spread out and runs much cooler (tested with a digital thermometer). I also used a finned heatsink on the main processor. There are no more signs of overheating-related…

Good radiators but not very cool

I can't fault the look of the radiators. They're good, there are a lot of them, and they're good for various hot Raspberry Pi components. The tape must be thermally conductive. However, before I inserted the heatsinks, the CPU temperature reached 72 °C after a period of stress testing (rpi_tempmon, py -ST 2). After installing the radiators I have 69-71 C. A slight decrease. I was expecting a more significant drop in temperature. Haven't decided yet if it's worth it. Maybe it's better to get a…

For the chip at the bottom (RAM I think) I installed two small black heatsinks with their original thermal pads. As for the processor, I removed the thermal pad and added a small amount of mx-4 thermal paste hoping that would help. really lower the temperature of the processor. And yes, it works much better.
