I wish it would have worked!

I was thrilled with these lunch boxes for my child. But I only had them 1 day and had the following problems -1. Lid ripped on first wash. I didn't use them, I just washed them a little before using them and the lid cracked! 2. They are too big to fit in a standard kid's lunch bag.

Great lunch box containers for kids

This set of 3 plastic 3 compartment bento lunch boxes fit perfectly in my daughter's insulated fabric lunch box. (see photos) After putting the sealed container in the lunch box, I slip a thin Igloo freezer bag into the pocket opposite the container and everything stays cold and fresh. The plastic is quite thick and the lid closes well to keep groceries separate in my daughter's backpack during the commute to school. I've been using the same container for 3 weeks with no problems. (To prolong…

Little Boy Shatterproof

This is the second set I have bought in 4 years. The only reason I buy a new set is because my mom stole most of them from me because she liked them so much. I've been using them for my kids' lunches for years. They are very well built. In most cases, the containers and lids on them are brittle and will eventually break if you wash them repeatedly in the dishwasher instead. The lid closes tight enough so the juice doesn't spill. I'm not saying you can put soup in it, but you can put in kale and

One day a good product broke

I first discovered these bento boxes about three years ago after only buying two of them. They stack up well in storage and continue to stand the test of time and the active elementary schooler. They were so good that I wanted to make more dinners for the coming week. Upon receiving the new kit, it was immediately apparent that their overall design had changed. They changed the design so they no longer fit old bento boxes and the lids don't fit the old ones. Although I was a little irritated by

Not like before!

I bought these to replace a kit I bought three years ago. The original set was used by my twins almost every school day in grades K-2. They were great until about year two when the tabs on the lids started snapping, they started chipping around the rims and the "cups" broke when dropped. I bought a replacement set which I received today. Straight out of the Revain box, I was surprised at how much smaller they felt. When I took them out of the product packaging I was shocked at the quality. They

Pros
  • High test scores for support and durability
Cons
  • Some issues

Love this idea and have been using it for two years now. The plastic in it is stronger than in the "Lunchbox" (same, different brand) which I thought would be a plus, but because of that the lids broke much quicker because the plastic didn't give. The lids are also deformed. and don't stay quite there, so I won't be washing them in the dishwasher again, although it's too late for this batch, the munchbox hasn't warped that much. We got through last year's school year with a few cracked snack…

I've been using them for many years. Here's what I've learned

I've been using these Easy Lunchboxes for 3 of my kids for 5 years. I'm happy with their performance and they last the whole school year despite washing them in the bottom rack of the dishwasher every time. The last pack I ordered had a pair that were slightly warped making the lids difficult to put on at the end of the term. Also, they are way too small now that my oldest is in high school. I really wish they made one twice as deep as this one. She likes to grab salads and the like, plus a few
