Direct replacement best in my review

My late 2012 MacMini started grumbling with fan use and then got quite, too quite. This direct replacement part went right in and made me realize my old fan was completely dead!

Pros
  • This was as advertised and works great! Fast shipping.

  • The fan's performance may not improve significantly, leading to dissatisfaction with the product's effectiveness

Great Replacement Fan For The OEM One On A Mac Mini

This fan works just as it should and appears to be the same as the oem (original equipment manufacturer) fan. Works just as it should by pulling enough air through the mac mini case to cool all components.

like the bearing was off

I have a Mac Mini 2011. The OEM fan was starting to make a consistent low grinding noise, like the bearing was off.Cleaning it with compressed air would work for a few months, but it just got worse and worse.I replaced the fan with this unit and the Mac Mini has been quite ever since. Got around the end of 2015.
