Six years later and still works great. Buy this scale.

I bought this scale in February 2011. My son has diabetes, so we weigh almost anything that has carbs in it. For now, we've memorized the most commonly used codes. The scale is easy to use and the backlight helps you see the numbers. I also use this scale when baking as I weigh flour, sugar, butter and water instead of measuring to get more accurate results. The batteries are easy to replace and the device is easy to clean. Six years later I am still very satisfied with this scale and can only…

The gentleman who contacted me was

There are many gram weights on the market, but this one goes even further, listing 999 popular American foods in a database with carbohydrate, calorie, and fiber values for each food's weight. You can then add this food measurement to the calculator's memory. This allows you to measure each

Great functionality, great service

This scale's unique (as far as I can tell) feature allows the user to Enter information from the label and then directly read the amount of nutrients and the actual weight, which is extremely useful as it eliminates cumbersome and error-prone calculations. The manufacturer's service is also excellent. When I had a fatal problem with a unit that was only a few months old, the manufacturer honored its warranty and within days sent me a check for the full purchase amount. In the meantime I had…
