Twelve AA bought w/33% Failure in four months

CURRENTLY Five Stars: Customer service went above and beyond my expectations. I received four bad batteries and they sent me eight good ones to replace them. And they threw in a charger. I will purchase again. Thanks EBLPREVIOUSLY ONE STAR: 4 of 12 double A's PURCHASED failed in 4 months, the other 8 lithium AA continue IN service. They are not in any way better than NIMH. Big disappointment.

Pros
  • Consistent performance is not affected by age of battery
Cons
  • The charger may not be covered by a warranty against malfunction or damage

**Update** excellent customer service

I honestly have not had the batteries long, so I can not attest to how well they will age or if the longevity is anything special, however when I received the batteries the look and feel of the overall product is cheap, additionally I have serious safety concerns as during the charging cycle they make a very light noise reminiscent of radio static or even a very light simmering sound. Will continue testing and will post an updated review in the future after some time has passed.**update**…

Pros
  • High-drain devices remain fully powered
Cons
  • The charger may require frequent recalibration to maintain proper functionality

Not built to last: my feedback

Had these batteries and charger for a year, and they no longer charge. The Charger shows a green light immediately after inserting the batteries, but they will not power any devices. I have the 2800mAh batteries from EBL purchased in 2019 and they still work just fine.Very disappointed in the 3000mAh versions.

Pros
  • Ideal for digital audio equipment
Cons
  • The charging base may require a lot of time and patience to learn how to use properly

Complete and Total Crap!

No photo or video because I was so irritated I through charger and bull*hit batteries in the garbage and that was too good a disposal for them. I purchased these for use in our Blink Security Cameras. They require 1.5v AA's. So you either go with beefed up Akalines or as I prefer to do go Lithium because they're leaps and bounds better. What better way than rare 1.5v Lithium Rechargeables was my thought. Let me say I'm a Flashaholic and build/modify flashlights for recreation. I own many, many…

Pros
  • Smart charger ensures proper charging and prolongs battery life
Cons
  • The batteries may not be as efficient as other types of rechargeable batteries

Great batteries, perfect for our blink cameras

Charger works perfect, full charge within 1 hour, charger has red and green lights that notifies when your batteries are fully charged, also love that you can charge as many as you can, or only 1, wonderful product.

Pros
  • Low self-discharge rate
Cons
  • The charger may not work well in areas with unstable power

Reliable Batteries on my review.

We purchased 3 sets of these to use with Shure wireless microphones and wireless belt packs for our church 8 months ago on Sunday mornings. I've been very happy with them-- so much so that we purchased 3 more sets for other rooms in our church. It is worth noting that our usage is as follows: we use them for the 2 hour rehearsal mid-week, place them back on the charger, then again for 5 hours on Sunday morning, and then back onto the charger. I've had no problems with them this far.

Pros
  • Saves money in the long run
Cons
  • The charger and batteries don't come with a carrying case for storage or travel

Great for AA but does not charge AAA batteries. Be warned

This charger works to charge AA batteries but when I tried to charge AAA batteries of the same manufacturer (EBL) and type (LiOn rechargeable) red light just blinks indicating it will not charge. Don't buy this charger if you are expecting to charge both AA and AAA batteries. Learned the hard way.

Pros
  • USB Design- USB Input gives you more options to meet your battery needs. It can connect with adapter, power bank, PC and many more 2A USB devices. (Note: only applicable for 2.0A adapter, do not use 1.0A adapter.)
Cons
  • If the batteries fail to recharge, they cannot be relied upon in emergency situations

One out of eight ordered failed

The batteries were excellent except for one that failed upon the 2nd charge, The charger worked well. The manufacturer refunded the failed unit without any hesitation

Pros
  • Independent Charging - EBL universal battery charger, you can charge any combination of AA / AAA lithium ion batteries without having to charge the battery in pairs. Battery charging is also available.
Cons
  • The batteries cannot be charged while outside of the charger

I watch full replays (hours of streaming) of bike and triathlon races as well as classic movies on ROKU and NBC Universal's Peacock. I also have a race scanner for live broadcasts. And I watch my share of TV programming. These EBL batteries work well in the remotes, much better than the 1.2v rechargeable batteries commonly used. I save money by nor purchasing the expensive 1.5v non-rechargeables.I prefer charging these 2 amp batteries with the Universal AC to DC 5V 2A/2000mA Power Supply Cord…

Pros
  • Can be recharged hundreds of times
Cons
  • The charger may not be as easy to use as other types of battery chargers

September 2022 Update: Bottom line? These are lithium AA batteries done right! I have a battery toothbrush, and alkalines don't seem to last very long. NiMH rechargeables don't seem to put out the voltage to make the toothbrush work very well. These rechargeable lithium batteries are PERFECT for the job. They put out strong voltage, and so far they are running my toothbrush, flashlights, and whatever other device I use them in MUCH better than NiMH batteries. These are great for devices where…

Usint them since March and love them!

I've been using mine for my VR controllers. I charged and installed a set in my Reverb G2 WMR controllers and I'm still using the same batteries in it since then. I'm super happy with them.

Pros
  • Low internal resistance
Cons
  • The charging base may not be compatible with some types of power outlets

3-starts because only 4 of 8 Charger slots worked

Nice system (lots of great reviews). But only half of the charger seemed to work.Returned for a replacement. After emailing the company they refunded me and I ordered a replacement. It worked fine. Be sure you have a sufficient current going to the charger.

Pros
  • Long shelf life ensures readiness when needed
Cons
  • The batteries may not work well in lower voltage devices

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Not really 1.5 v - updated

Would not work with devices (Blink cameras) that require a lithium disposables. The issue is that those batteries actually produce about 1.8V. These generate 1.5V, like a standard alkaline. It's not their fault the Blink cameras require a higher voltage.

Pros
  • Provides consistent performance
Cons
  • The charging base may require a different power adapter when traveling to certain countries

Fantastic batteries but.

but one of them died and since I only use them in pairs it effectively took two of them out. That's a big hit for an 8-pack. That's my feedback.

Pros
  • Reduces the need for multiple battery types
Cons
  • The charging base may not last as long as the batteries, leading to replacement costs over time

EBL rechargeable lithium batteries are worth the money spent

The rechargable batteries have been a great success with my family. They have lasted on average 3 day charge before requiring recharge. The only downfall is that the controllers that the batteries are being used in can not define that level of charge the battery has left in it. The controllers say fully charged at all times. A system we have put in place is after 2 day use to switch out with charged batteries from station.

Pros
  • Lower total cost of ownership compared to disposable batteries
Cons
  • The charger may not fit all types of battery sizes

These are terrible batteries

After only a few months the batteries lost all charge. I mean all charge. Charged them untill green, unplugged the charger, and within 3 months they were all dead, not low, but 0v dead.Charged them up again, all green, and within a few weeks they were all dead. Now they all flash red when charging.

Pros
  • Can be used in radio-controlled vehicles
Cons
  • The charging base may require a lot of energy to charge all eight batteries

Second set seems fine.

The first set we received did not work properly. The seller was incredible and reached out to us wanting to remedy the situation. They sent us a set of replacement batteries that so far have worked in everything we wanted them to.We wanted them for the automatic door locks and motorized toys that need 1.5v per cell.

Pros
  • Quick recharge time ensures faster use
Cons
  • The charger may not work in areas with frequent power outages or surges

Bad Charger for my opinion

Manual states LED should be RED if charging, GREEN if fully charged, and light off if incompatible batteries. I have tried 3 different power sources (5Vdc@2.0A, 5Vdc@2.4A using the supplied power cord, and the one shown above with its own cord) and none of them showed any color LED. I also tested the batteries and they look to be fully charged. I also checked the batteries in my 4-battery lithium charger and as seen in the picture it lights up as fully charged. My conclusion is that the charger

Pros
  • Can be used in flashlights
Cons
  • The batteries may not work in devices that require a specific brand of AA battery

Doesnt charge AAA on my review.

I bought this in April 2021 and wasn't an issue with the AA batteries included. I've since bought EBL rechargeable AAA 1.2V and EBL AAA 1.5V. It doesn't charge either. Can you help me with this issue?Update: 1 September 2022Amazing customer service. They are the best sellers I've contacted via Ebay. Five star all the way. They sent me two chargers. The first of which was the same I had an issue with and it functioned the same as the original. They are working on the technical side to improve the

Pros
  • Provides constant power output
Cons
  • The batteries may have a shorter lifespan if overcharged or undercharged often

Pretty good rechargeable battery

Bought these for my blink cameras. Was able to up some of the settings now with rechargeable batteries. Not so worried about battery life now always having backups.

Pros
  • Household Batteries
Cons
  • Charging time can be quite long
