Just go to the dealer. It will cost more, but you won't fret like me. Please!

They're only good if you have a locksmith cutting them to get in or lock the driver's door. You will not start the car or have it programmed by the dealer. Very disappointed to find this out after spending money cutting them to size. Don't waste your time and money with this product. Let me repeat that again for people to see. Don't waste your time and money with this product.

Just back from the store. If you cut the key, you can start the car, but you can't program it into the car. Funny since he suggested this part for my car. after entering the year of manufacture, make, model, style and engine. I find this very annoying, but hey. Who takes care of the customer and the application when the end result is in? $45 for key cutting plus $33 I paid for the key/fob and am not getting a refund. Thank you Revane and China :)

Works like a charm when it works!

I just received my new key fobs and programmed one in 10 minutes. I couldn't get the other one to work, but I'm not sure if it was my method or a trinket. Anyway, for $30 I'm more than happy that one works, it's everything I really expected. I will update my rating if and when I get another job. To update. Anyone who works quits in about two weeks. I hope the new batteries help, but the new batteries I put in should have lasted longer. Let's see

They work with my 1998 Audi A4 2.8 Quattro (B5)

After the heartache of ordering another product the keys were cut at $40 each and they didn't work. Since you need 2 working keys to program a new transmitter, I was unable to return the keyfobs. But then I had 3 working keys (one working transmitter). I've ordered, tried and returned transmitters that didn't work until these worked. ECCPP really answers - Anti Theft

These keys are exactly as described and they have inserts on the back of the key blade for an Audi logo sticker. This is the perfect replacement for your lost/missing keychain. They look like ID48 transponder chips but until I find someone with a transponder cloning machine I can only speculate and update the review. Eccpp is responsive and pretty fast.
