These bags fit in my big loaves of bread that I bake and I don't have to keep throwing them in landfills. I like that I can wash and renew them. They are made of thick plastic and fasten with a zipper. I use two gallons and am happy with their capacity.

I liked having them instead of reusing Ziploc type packages. I had no problems. They do not absorb odors and are easy to attach. They are easy to clean and store. To dry, I place them on a tall glass or vase and let them air dry. Sometimes you have to wipe the inside with a towel, but not often. I don't regret ordering them.

I love the concept, the thickness, the durability but I can't close the pouch anymore. I followed the cleaning instructions. I hand washed in warm, not hot water. Now I pack my groceries in a bag and put the bag in a ziplock bag to seal it. I don't have this problem with similar bags from other manufacturers.

Just received them today, disappointed as I thought they were big enough to hold store bought loaves of bread but they are too short even for 1 loaf and not wide enough for 2 loaves of bread. The quality is very thick so I will leave it for meat and other things. I can buy 2 1/2 gallon storage bags at the store but I can't find any 2 1/2 gallon freezer bags.

Sorta took a chance - it's not exactly clear how big they will be. I bake homemade bread and wanted a way to freeze large loaves of bread that don't fit in standard bags. Sharp ends appear on the leaven, which usually tear regular bags. These bags solve my problem - very thick, washable, reusable - and save 5 standard bags a week in landfill. I assume they will last a long time. Good product!

Now that the weather is getting warmer, I'm using my Traeger Ironwood 650 in BBQ mode MUCH more often. Two of our favorites are whole chicken and Boston butt. Yesterday morning I squirted a brine of pork meat injections up my butt and then put it in one of these bags. They are thick, durable, the zipper is easy to use and stay closed, and very easy to hand wash! Oh yeah. I started the butt at 8:00 this morning. 12 hours later is an ATTRACTIVE time!

I use them for freezing fruit for kindergarten children and freezing meat bones for broth and broth. from the freezer. We need 2 pliers to open it. My husband is 50 years old and he is still quite strong and strong. I'm 45, so we're not old or weak by any means. Maybe making part of the zipper much wider than it is would help.

Obviously they're big - 2 gallons, which is nice. Very thick material. Two reasons I gave it 4 stars: Firstly because the seal wasn't as strong as I needed it to be - I tried to keep the liquid in the bag and the seal didn't hold the liquid when I moved the bag . The bags are great for meat and other non-liquid foods, the seal is so good that I don't hesitate to put the food I need to defrost in a double boiler without fear of water getting into the bag.
