I like the saddle pad, it means my saddle sits much better on a white horse, the saddle no longer leans forward. The price of the goods corresponds to the quality of the goods.

This pillow shouldn't cost more than $30 because it's so unassuming. The foam inserts are no thicker than 3/4" and are made of a material that seems to compress and hold flat on the fly, while the main body of the padding is barely 1/2" thick. I'd rather not buy it.

I bought this saddle pad for an older horse that has a slightly larger back than usual. I use this pillow and put another pillow on to give him enough support and comfort to protect his spine. It is easy to clean and provides much-needed comfort for both horse and rider.

Serious slips and crawlers. When my horse warms up with a loose belt on the lunge line, this pad tries to step out of the scene. It is not in the shape of a horse and will jump out from behind. I can only use it when going straight from saddle to saddle without going in between. It's decent, but damn it's frustrating.

This liner doesn't have a narrow rise to be considered anything other than a breathable sheet metal liner! My pad, which I've not only used for decades but my mother used before me, is at least twice as thick. Even breathability is pointless if I have to add a ton to make it what it claims to be!

Very happy with this rug so far. It fits both my horse (14.3, longer body) and saddle (synthetic) very well. The first time I used it we did 12 miles on the road and it seemed to offer great cushioning and the sweat stains were permanent afterwards. It was breathable in 35 degree weather and light for me and my horse. I recommend it to anyone looking for a medium soft pillow!
