Works better than the competition

I see most faraday cage reviews saying the same thing: worked for a few months and has stopped working. If at first everything worked fine, then the malfunction is related to intensive use, as well as opening and closing the folding shutter. Faraday cages must be seamless to prevent signal loss. Normally this applies to hard ferrous metals. If you work a solid piece of metal back and forth, it will eventually fail. Here is an empirical study of the best products currently availableโ€ฆ

Good but only lasted 7 months

Faraday bag works as it should. It completely blocks the signal from my BMW key fob. Mine only lasted 7 months though. After 7 months of use, the bag stopped working. While it still looks new, it doesn't block the signal at all. I understand that the shield is metal based so flexing will eventually break the shield, but I expected it to last longer. I assume all bags have this problem, but it would be nice if manufacturers figured out how to extend their lifespan. Although they only lasted 7โ€ฆ

Works as stated. A few months, then NADA

UPDATE: I bought this product in July and like many buyers was initially very happy with it (see review below); However, after less than 4 months of wearing baby gloves, it no longer isolates the radio signal from my key fob. I have contacted the manufacturer and am awaiting a response, but others have done so and have not responded; BUYER BEWARE. Received on time and product size is as expected; works GREAT and exactly as advertised; I can literally sit in my truck with the key fob in myโ€ฆ

That does not work. Needs more shielding.

Although this product works to keep an extra key in my car, when I get out of the car with this key in my hand (the key is in this bag) the doors stay locked open. On the other hand, if I take my key fob, wrap it in foil and walk around the car, none of the doors will open. I have tried to seal this package as carefully as possible without changing the results. So if you just need to keep a spare key in your car or in your luggage, that's fine. If you want to hide the key somewhere in the carโ€ฆ

Works great! The key fob does not work on the door lock even if it is next to it. Makes repeat attacks impossible. This is how it works. The key fob you carry with you only emits a radio signal when you are close to the vehicle. Then the signal is too weak. But someone with a radio could chase you out of your car. When they sit next to you, their relay radio (the size of a briefcase) makes the car think the key fob is right next to it. So you can just open your car and drive away. But with aโ€ฆ

Works well, like

Works when car key is fully inserted into pocket. attached) near the car door and through the pocket by pressing the release button. (about a meter). As the bag got older, the effectiveness of the bag diminished and I was able to open the door remotely (car keys completely closed). As a note, try not to keep the car key in your pocket with other keys (e.g. house keys) as the effectiveness in this case is unpredictable from any distance. Maybe the metal acts as an antenna, or the signal can getโ€ฆ

Keep unwanted drivers away from your vehicle!

So I got this mainly because I'm an Uber driver. My Nissan "Intelligent Key" design is a double-edged sword, in the sense that not locking the key fob in the car also means you can't lock others while driving if you have the key with you. Now that I have it, it does what it says on the tin and prevents outsiders with a sensitive smart key from unlocking my care while I'm inside. The only "common sense" pain is that you have to take the key fob out of your pocket every time you want to get inโ€ฆ
