The product came with a lot of dirt: pieces of shells and pieces of coral inside. Shell corals are dangerous for freshwater aquariums because they change the water balance. I would NOT recommend this product.

Do not buy this item! Regardless of what images appear on Revain, the entire order was packaged in a 3" x 5" box. It was made by EDOTFISH. I have bought a lot of filter material over the years and the quantity is too small.

Good grade, enough material for one layer in the Sunsun canister filter I use for my Parahna's basement feeding. Stay clean for a long time. It took about a week to set up the water treatment plant, but after that it worked great.

Limited range of common pet store items, no unique shape - and unfortunately only little more than one hand. I haven't weighed it, but since these types of media are all very light, I have a hard time believing it was the advertised 1.1 pounds - maybe wet.

Supplied in a zipped mesh pouch. He is tall. I have 30 liters and had to part with it. Just not even a quarter used. Excellent purchase. Large quantity. Everything you see in the picture is there. If you have a large canister filter, you may need two. I don't regret a bit.

I'm really amazed. I received a black filter bag with a dozen different media in it. I was blown away, this is an amazing sample of almost any media used in an aquarium filter or pan. This is a win-win purchase. Trust me, that's the real deal. All media types in one filter bag. A must buy in my book. I'll be back.

Nice combination. I didn't put it in my filter. I have an aquarium with baby fish from last summer. I put it on the bottom. At first I just left it there until I was ready to put it in my filter. Small plant snails hide in there and small fish are always pecking at them, so I left it alone. I'll just leave it alone. The little fish seem content to poke around in it. I would buy again.
