EEEKit License Trailer Courtesy Lights Review

Light is great, wires could be a little longer, used for number plate lights and moved to my bike rack as bikes were blocking the number plate on the SUV. Also, the cops crackle on the plates that aren't visible when towing/carrying stuff on the rear trunk. Didn't want to interrupt my drive because the cops pulled me over for a clogged license plate. My trip starts on August 15th so I will report on brightness etc when I return.

Excellent flashlights. Very light Bought to fit on a newly built pickup wood sideboard. I did not use the screws provided as I used my own stainless steel hardware. I also only needed one flashlight but for the price I went with these two sets rather than many other individual sets for the same price. The only point of criticism: the cables could be a bit longer. Doesn't cost much, not even a foot or so of wire on a light pigtail.

I'm tired of being stopped. So I took these. You get great flashlights for the price. I bought a set of 2 and it was overkill for my license plate but it was worth it. The screws provided are not self tapping so I drilled larger holes and used rivets. You will also need to drill a larger hole to insert the wires. So if you have wiring experience and a drill with bits, you can install them anywhere. I will buy more for the interior.

Purchased as license plate lights on Focus 01. Yes I knew I had to wire them up myself. Connected and installed instead of old lamps. You looked great. Of course, just as I expected, it's not quite as shiny as I wanted, but still very usable. Now fast forward two weeks. (installed February 28th, checked March 13th) One is very weak and flickers. The other one stopped working. I checked the wiring, everything is fine. Disappointed with the quality of these lamps.

Just plug and play! I hooked up the wiring harness (97 Tahoe) and connected red to + and black to - and the installation was smooth and easy! Only thing is the screws were a little smaller than they should be, but they cost at most $1 more at any hardware or auto parts store. I only needed one, left the second in reserve. They are very bright and very nocturnal for what they are! Low cost and efficiency. I suggest you wrap the cables in duct tape. In my case I used a heat shrink to protect them

Good (lower) number plate lighting, not too bright and not diffuse. Bought to replace the original bracket on a 1989 Ford Aerostar van. The original lamp broke when I removed it to replace the bulb. Although the design differs from the original, it fits standard mounting holes without modification and looks as good or even better than the stock bracket. Clean bright light.
