I am not satisfied with this palm. It's not very durable. We've only used it a couple of times and every time we try to take it apart and put it back together there are problems; now either the upper (luminous palm) or the lower spiral; not both. Nice once I found it. The stick is pretty thin. Wanted to be wrong. The stand is too weak. I replaced it with an umbrella stand for the patio. The plastic threaded portion of the male end of the lower connector stuck over the plastic and I had to break the plastic a bit to get it off and screw it in. However, it glows beautifully and also looks good during the day. If I had to pay full price (I bought it on sale) I wouldn't think it's worth the price.

I have had one of these trees for almost a year now. It shines every night. I am amazed by this product, even after being submerged for 5 days after Hurricane Harvey, it still glows, although it is slowly starting to go out now. I had to buy another to replace it, but I'd really like a four foot tree to go with it, even though I can't afford it right now. Maybe this company could send it after seeing a photo of a tree after a hurricane. Everyone at my RB park loves it!

Bought the 7ft version to replace a 15 year old 5ft tree. This one is much brighter. Setting up wasn't easy. First, the screw that screws into the base to hold it open was too small. Had to go to Home Depot to get the right size. Second, the connector that connects the palm leaf lighting to the amber trunk lighting is not screwed in as expected. This is one of the worst quality products I have ever bought. Literally a few minutes after opening the box it was ready for the trash - the base broke (I had a chance to use my old palm's base), all the electrical connections were crushed (Interesting because nothing in the box could do that squeezing (must have happened at the factory), the zip ties are cut with the wrong tool so you have about 90 razor sharp plastic points to cut your hand, the holographic plates are crooked and the palm…
