So far, so good. in my review

This is my first time using this style of diamond bits. I just test one bit on a spare piece of ceramic bath tile, it was very smooth with a nice clean hole.I'd suggest checking out a video on YT first to see how to best get the bit started. It's simple once you see how.

Okay for occasional use.

These are handy to have available. I used the 3/16 to install a shower door on tile. It was 6 holes for the frame. I could tell it was wasn't cutting on the last holes as good as on the first one. Still worked and still has life. Not an everyday bit set but I have others to use A variety of sizes means I may have what I need for a one time need.

Surprisingly good in my review

I didn't expect these to work near as well as they did. As always with non centering bits, start on an angle and roll in if you don't have a fixed setup like a drill press.All I've done so far is put holes in 2 glazed ceramic dishes (I turned them into planters) but the cutting power really suprised me. (Stone and ceramic doesn't cut like wood so be patient and go slow.) I tried the first hole dry and , tho I did lose a couple diamonds off the tip, they were able to fairly quickly finish the…

Worked perfectly on tile.

I got these to install a new Over the Range microwave on a wall with Glass Subway Tile backsplash. These worked nicely for predrilling the holes in the tile where the mounting frame with be lag bolted.I used a spare tile to practice making holes before I started on the wall where mistakes aren't undone so easily. My Tip (note I said MY tip not PRO tip, because I definitely AM NOT a Pro) - Start drilling by turn the drill on LOW SPEED making sure the bit IS NOT in contact with the surface. Cant…

Easily handles stone and cement

I was able to quickly make holes in granite stone and cement pavers. There was no significant wear to the drill bit afterwards. The wax of course was gone. Looks like that is a one time use feature.I suppose that one could just drill into a candle to re-apply the wax. (Sorry dear, don't know how that hole got into your favorite candle) Lastly, I would prefer if this drill bit set came in a more compact carry case. It's a useful set for my opinion

A good selection of the most common sizes. They are going to be important for my next tile job. Dry diamond coated bits are really the only way to go when trying to cut holes in tile or glass. These have a wax center to provide lubrication so you don't have to use an external lubricant while drilling.
