Nice little project box

To the person who asked the size of the PCB leads, they appear to be 2-3/8" wide and 1/16" wide. The rails run the full length of the box (lid outside).

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Some flaws

Solid case! Well built.

Although the Arduino Nano board with terminal block was too thick to fit in this case, I saved it for future use. Very nice workmanship and looks high quality. It's not too easy and not too difficult. When your board fits, it gives your project a fantastic professional look.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Fix

Simple, well done.

This is a simple, reasonably well made and fairly elegant upgrade to the usual flat top rectangular project boxes. The end plates and screws fit well, the workmanship was good. It's aluminum, not $10 or so thick, so don't expect the endplates to be flex-resistant (drilled holes, especially large ones, resulted in very mild but fixable flexing. Simply screwing them into the case flattened them again).

Pros
  • Superb Design
Cons
  • Compatibility

Great box but lid and box don't match

Was very happy with the extrusion and painting (anodizing?) on this one when I got it spent hours building a circuit to give it it, including the holes in both end plates, before realizing that the end plates didn't even remotely match the holes in the profile for the screws. And it's not a little. Look at the photos. It's not like I could crash into another hole because there's nothing to beat there. The end plates are just MUCH small. What the hell happened?

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Piggy bank price

Excellent box but the lids and the box do not match

Was very happy with the extrusion and painting (anodizing?) On this one when I received it I continued assembling the circuit for hours including drilling holes in both end plates, before realizing that the end plates didn't even remotely match the holes in the profile for the screws. Pros
  • Tools and housewares
Cons
  • The packaging is ugly

I liked it so much that I bought a second one!

It's always difficult to find inexpensive, small, short term housing. But this one is great. Not sure what they mean by HF, aluminum isn't a very good dampener but I have mine to fit some light controls in. The end plates are metal and are easy to drill and add LED frames and switches, as well as small panel mount connectors. Pay attention to the PCB thickness and spacing if you want to use the included mounting rails. I used straight stands and beveled the screw holes. I used the extra spaceโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Electrical cabinets
Cons
  • I'll write later
