Eiko Supreme ECA Photoflood Light Review

Works great for me. I have a dog and when I plant it in the garden at night it lights up everything brightly. I had a 60 watt light bulb on my patio and a 250 watt light bulb for spotlight.

Pros and cons of this product. Pros: Reasonable price, 250W brightness for making screens. It would be great if it had a longer lifespan.

We played around with different light combinations to make our screens and got mixed results, most of which weren't very good. This lightbulb has made the process so easy that it's easy to create new screens and try new designs. Exposure time is also faster than most lights we've tried in the past, making it nearly instantaneous. Very satisfied.

I'm by no means a photographer, I have a digital rebel and a photocube to photograph my work to sell online. I would suggest if using them for similar purposes ordering at least two or using another extra light to reduce the shadow. One light is not enough. However, I like the color of the light it produces, it's warm and realistic. The lamp naturally generates a lot of heat, so take this into account when setting it up.

I don't know what's wrong with these bulbs. I have a softbox that I use to take photos. Usually these bulbs work great in my softbox. That's why I keep ordering them. However, the last 2 lamps I ordered didn't work! One of them just deflated as soon as I turned on the light. The other doesn't go for a second. I had to go back to an old, low life lightbulb to finish my job. Eiko, could you explain to us what's going on with those lightbulbs right now?

I use these bulbs in the 24" softboxes that come with the green screen. They are not daylight balanced and appear much warmer than direct sunlight. They work very well when they have the only light source otherwise you will run into problems trying to match colors. I also use an interview style video softbox or two. A 250 watt key light and often 500 watts in a second soft box. So I have these Brought things across the country in registered bags and they survived the journey, they don't last…
