That's what I was hoping for. The back is flat for a snug fit and not heavy. My blanket is white, but this one is lighter white. I plan to paint it to match my quilt for cohesion. I highly recommend this item.

Nice locket! I bought it primed and we painted it a satin white. We didn't want to pay double the price for a painted locket so we could customize the locket to match the finish! It looks great and is perfect for a medium sized 5 branch gypsy chandelier! Now we're just waiting for our lightbulbs to get here ;)

This item looks fine and worked for me with some adjustment, but the dimensions given are misleading. Things to keep in mind when trying to plug a damaged ceiling hole (or ceiling paint color mismatch etc.). The tips of the four points are 18 inches in diameter, but most of the medallion is 16.5 to 17 inches in diameter. Not ideal if you're really hoping to cover 18 inches.

My electrician just replaced a small 20 year old locket in our outside lobby with this one. What a huge difference under our chandelier! It's good quality and I read somewhere that someone varnished it. I used white spray paint (so I didn't have to wait for a painter to apply it and it worked great! I used the same color in our dining room too. Really makes the lights stand out!

Read reviews. Found I need to increase the size of the dome by 4.5 inches. My chandelier is 14 wide. I know you are thinking of using a larger or smaller locket. I originally bought 13 inch. The seller replied in the reviews that 18 inches is enough for a 5 inch flashlight. This information was very helpful as I do not wish to return any items. Others have complained that the locket's "claimed" width is incorrect, ie 18 inches. really 16 inches. I don't mind making the purchase and couldn't be…
