Looks good from a distance but flaws become apparent upon closer inspection and regular use. The quilt is woven too loosely and has holes in the black and white part. The edges, although sewn with a seam, are torn and unraveled. I was hoping for the same texture as the duvets I used when I lived in Mexico, but that's not the case. He clearly lacks warmth. The quality hardly comes close to weekly television films. Appearance is similar, after that all is lost.

Many years ago my husband and I were homeless. When we came back to life, he bought me a blanket that looked like this. It was a symbol of the importance of taking small things for granted. hot shower, warm food, cozy blanket. This blanket means the world to me. I still have it today. I have been using this blanket daily for yoga for two months. I find it very suitable for my needs. It's thick enough to be folded as a small compress or just a few times as a thin blanket. This is a really nice blanket for the price. For the price - people really need to figure out what they're buying before they buy. This is a rustic, chunky Mexican falsa or serape blanket, very authentic. It won't be the softest thing you've ever felt, nor should it be. I bought two of these: one to take to the office where it's always cold and one to leave at home for my dog. Most of my blankets at home are fleece and generate a lot of static electricity, which the dog doesn't like. Being a cotton/acrylic blend I hope they don't have the same static problem.
