During the holidays we took a risk and ordered two duvets chosen at random. One is gifted and the other stays depending on what we received. We saved one in the photo and gifted another that was the same color pattern but with a purplish pink hue instead of a more vibrant carnation hue. We use it every day and it has added great functional texture to our living room decor. Now this is a favorite bedspread on our sofa and a real cat magnet! It holds up very well even under heavy use, although I can understand why some might say it has stretched or snapped. It would if you weren't careful, but it's still very durable. It hasn't been washed yet but I'm sure it will wash well with other duvets on delicate surfaces and tumble dry on low/no heat. Future. They make a great gift! Edit: A year and a half later, this blanket is still a cat magnet and still our favorite blanket. I have ordered more than gifts and they have been great!
