These are fantastic straps and I've stopped wearing my leather straps completely. They are very easy to adjust and once engaged they never come loose. They look great with North Face hiking pants, jeans and Under Armor golf shorts. I haven't worn them with golf pants or trousers but they should look good. I have a 32 waist and just cut off a few inches with scissors and then secured the end with a lighter.

I really like this belt. I mainly wear it for golf. And it works fine. Easy to set up. And you can even shorten it if you need it. The belt itself is nylon so you can heat melt the edges after cutting to keep it looking good. It stretches a bit so the strap doesn't really need to be adjusted when you're leaning over or sitting. Excellent belt. The carbon buckle is really beautiful and fashionable. To fasten a belt, push a small spring-loaded button on the buckle and pull the strap through the buckle. The webbing material is quite strong and tough so it is not difficult to stretch. Once it pops up on the opposite side of the buckle, you can simply pull it out and tighten to your desired tightness.
