After 3 months of use, a burning smell appeared. I noticed that the cables are on fire. photo posted. See and decide for yourself. It's very dangerous, it's dangerous. I won't even return it. .JUST DON'T BUY THIS!

Wires inside BURNED bottom and nearly started a FIRE. Luckily we managed to catch him in time. This unit is NOT high quality and there is virtually NO service department. I have contacted the company many times by phone and email but they have NOT responded. DO NOT BUY as there are much better and safer devices at this price.

The appliance was turned on but the power button to actually heat the appliance didn't work. Also on the lid of the samovar there is a central part that allows you to remove it, but on my device this part was turned back! Unfortunately, this is the second time I have bought this samovar and both times it was defective. If you buy it, be sure to keep the packaging as you may have to send it back.

We bought this for our office. The porcelain teapot is big enough that you can keep the tea warm long enough and it's quite big which is really good that you don't have to brew tea that often. Before buying this unit I bought a two kettle system to be used on the stove top and makes great tea until one day I left the house and forgot the stove was on (very weak ), but when I returned home, the pot was dry, red hot, and almost burned my house down.
