Does exactly what it's supposed to do, the top gets quite hot and gives off some heat. The metal handle doesn't get hot at all. All in all, this is a very good toaster.

I love this little toaster. Fits in my kitchen! Just baked a cinnamon bread in it last night. She baked cookies in it, cornbread, cinnamon rolls. Works perfectly. Five stars.

Well I liked this little stove using it for the last two months and tonight when I wiped it down (with a Paper towel and water ) ) Black letters and numbers began to fade. If I clean it again I'm afraid that more will be erased and then I don't know what settings I have or what the timer is set to! Very annoyed. I don't use strong cleaning products in my house, so nothing aggressive was used to clean.

I ordered this because the color matches all the other devices I've bought. . It took forever to heat up. It comes with a metal handle to reach into the scalding hot oven to take out the metal pan, which is probably the silliest thing I've heard of as both parts get hot. The handle info should be above the handle not below, I had to flip it to figure out how to put it on the baked goods. Has anyone ever tested these things on real live people?

I love this toaster but it started to fail almost exactly the day after the one year warranty expired. Now when you turn it on, you can feel the smell of burnt plastic. It started without warning and nothing strange happened to this oven. Just normal everyday use - a couple of bagels or toast - nothing more. I'm glad the huge oven is heating instead of turning on the huge oven baking small dishes / reheating pizza etc in 10 minutes to get up and cool down in 30 minutes.
