Don't know why it says 'pull' on the top of the hammer but they look sturdy and hopefully never need them. I gave away two (one for my mom's car, one for my dad's car) and kept two for myself to put one in the glove box and one in the back seat.

Haven't had to use them (fortunately) but they are strong, visible and excellent quality. I have one on every trip and bought them to give as Christmas gifts. Make sure whoever drives the vehicle knows where it is and how to use it.

I bought this item to use as a gift for my son, his girlfriend and grandson. Hopefully they won't need this tool, but it's nice to know they have it in case of an accident to cut the seat belt and/or smash the window. Thank you for such a well made emergency tool!

I'm a fireman, but people don't know that modern cars can get trapped in an emergency like an accident or a car being flooded. When the car rolls over on its side or on its roof, the weight of your body will make the seat belt tight and difficult to unbuckle, if your car is submerged in water, the electrical system closes and you cannot open the car doors or roll down the Window. . This is a tool that you can use to cut the belt and break your car's side window.

So I had a nightmare that I was driving my car, the bridge collapsed and I drowned in the river as I couldn't open the door due to a pressure problem. So I immediately bought 4 packs and made sure every car had them. I haven't actually tested if the pointed end works as I don't have spare car window glass (I think it's a special kind of tempering so I don't know how accurate it would be to break regular glass), but I feel me better to know our cars have it in case we need it.

When I saw that there were 4 packs for less than $12 I was very pessimistic about the quality of the product I was going to get but it had free return so why not?
