Pro - Cools well for the space it was bought for. Cons: Not quiet. Constantly rattles. Automatically switches to Eco mode. I'M FRIENDLY WITH ECO MODE IF IT REALLY WORKS! This thing turns on and off every few minutes and never properly cools the room on those settings. A trivial problem is also the glaring blue light (I cover it at night).

Update: I managed to speak to support and they fixed the 1 year warranty. Got my new air conditioner today! I liked it at first, I bought it on May 4, 2020. May 1, 2021 tried to turn on the first warm day and no cool air! The website says invalid and cannot find a valid customer service number. I spent more because it was reasonably priced and I thought Emerson had a good reputation. Think again!

Purchased 5th June 2020, installed and operated July to September 2020, worked well then plugged back in this year and not cooling at all. made several attempts to contact Emerson by phone, even asked for a call back and nothing, they couldn't get through to anyone. I will never buy an Emerson product again. For this price you should be using it for more than a few months and you will surely have someone to talk to about this product.

For a window unit, it's quieter than other models I've had. Blows out even more air than another 10,000 BTU system I've installed. Now when we first plugged it in it was LOUD, the foam pad inside was rubbing against the fan, I pulled out the vent and pushed back the foam and it was quiet for a while. a little and back. My old 1 1/4" wooden sleeper was too thick to fit the 1" slot on the mounting plate. We were able to fix this by unscrewing the bar and flipping it over so the higher side was resting on the window sill. In hindsight I would also add an extra L shaped support at the bottom but it seems to be holding up well with the screw holding the mounting bar to the window sill. Just an update, I LOVE this conditioner. Area 550 square feet is better than my old device in height. It's also a lot quieter. The
