Nice bed for my chinchilla. I bought this to replace a couple of handmade fleece duvets that I had for years but eventually fell apart. The "cushion" here is pretty thin. I don't know how well it holds up in the wash either. Next time I might have to look for another place that makes homemade beds.

Pippin (my chinchilla) loves this house very much. He loves to climb upstairs and inside depending on the day and this is his favorite place to sleep! However, it is very difficult to keep clean as it is quite often covered in urine and feces. I run it on a mild cycle in cold water and let it air dry or I hand wash it and let it air dry and have only done it 3 times so far and it's falling apart unfortunately. Superb hanging house. Our chinchilla cookie loves it and I really appreciate the removable bedding. I bought a large size for my chinchilla. She has enough space to lie down. I hesitated to buy this because she had a hammock and didn't like it. Front panel sewn upside down so the chinchilla can't jump in when you hang them on the top of the cage unless you have an edge to open.
