Not for NVME! This is for NGFF B SATA SSD Key

This is for NGFF B SSD Key, not NVME SSD as advertised on the website. I had to return it. I think maybe the seller sent the wrong item or the website is wrong. The build quality is normal, the chips on the board are good. So if you are looking for a SATA m.2 SSD enclosure, this is a good choice for you.

Pros
  • Computer Accessories and Peripherals
Cons
  • Makes Me Angry

I didn't read my disc and burned my disc with a replacement.

I'm not sure what happened but when I tried to use the first one I bought Windows gave me a fatal error when I tried to do anything with the disc. I would put the disc in my computer and it would read fine. I've tried many different cables and it still doesn't work. I received a replacement and when I plugged it in the drive got very hot and I could smell burning computer parts. There is never a strong smell. My drive is now fried. Sent both back and asked my seller for a replacement and theyโ€ฆ

Couldn't get this to work.

I have tried two different M.2 NVME SSD 2280 drives. One is a 256GB WD Black SSD and the other is a 1TB WD Black SSD. The computer beeps / recognizes that I have something plugged in, but nothing appears. To make matters worse, while experimenting with a 1TB drive and different connectors/cables, I got a weird warning from my PC that a lot of power was being drawn through the USB port. It happened twice, then I realized both ports were dead! (One port was USB 2 and the other was USB 3). Luckily
