I must say that I had my doubts about this little vest before I bought it. My pit bull and I walk a total of 8 miles to and from work when it's not a million degrees here in central Texas and I wanted to find a way to make warm walks more comfortable for him. This cooling vest makes it possible. He's not the biggest fan of wearing it, but it doesn't bother him that much. And it keeps him cool. I just put it in cold water and then wring it out. Not very suitable for an adult Irish Wolfhound.

I used this on my Irish Wolfhound. I was hoping it would fit him but he barely fits and is very tight on his chest. When he runs or stretches, the velcro comes loose. I bought this because he says it would fit an Irish Wolfhound but I really had to take my own measurements as my friend is a little larger in the chest than usual. He's a big guy! Clothes and Accessories Make My Pup Happy

We live in Southern California and the weather is unfavorable for dogs in fur. The first time I put it on him he was lying on the street and was too hot to play.
