Made of durable plastic and looks good. Includes mounting hardware and template (which has slightly deviated). Ironically, batteries are not included (requires 6 AA). Motion detection is good. But if it has been activated and then turns off, there is sometimes a slight delay in the passage for it to activate again. But overall it works fine. Settings are simple, either On (continuous until the batteries die), Auto (motion detection), or Off.

I love the look of this fixture and the amount of light it puts out. This is the perfect amount of light for our dark stairwell. However, the sensor sometimes works sluggishly where I placed it. I think since I have it almost at ground level it doesn't register any movements either. Placing it on top works fine, but unfortunately in the space I need it also has to be underground. So keep in mind if you also need it very close to the ground it will have more trouble registering movements.

Otherwise it's a good light for our hall closet, which was always dark. Six AA batteries (not included!) and LED lighting promise a very long battery life. My problem is that the motion detector works sometimes but not always. I hope this is a rare defect but the one I tried is not very good. Additionally, the included mounting hole template is offset in hole spacing by approximately 1/4 inch. This resulted in a messy installation. Lack of attention to detail and quality of this item.

The night light doesn't stick anywhere, it's screw on and doesn't have a removable base so you can leave the base and take the lamp off to change the battery. The battery compartment is on the back and therefore cannot be bypassed. The flashlight uses 6 AA batteries. It's quite bright. I put it in the garage and it allows me to see where I'm going. The light is activated by movement and stays on until you stop moving for +20 seconds. Some other motion-activated lights don't wait for you to stop

We are adding some safety lights for night use. When the Energizer Scone came out, I wanted to try it. It looks good and works well. However, using older AA batteries is a limitation. It uses 6 AA batteries. That's more than any other light source I've tried (usually no more than 4).
