🔧 Enhanced Enkay 142 Aluminum Polishing Kit Review

This set offers many options and everything you need for polishing with a drill. I used it to polish the aluminum on my bike and it worked fine. Although my portable drill ran out of battery, I eventually switched to my portable Dremel. Be careful what you do so you don't leave swirls on the metal.

The polishing pads in this kit are good quality and the pastes supplied worked really well on my cast aluminum valve covers. However, the smaller beans included in the set are much larger than they appear. I originally needed them to fit in the small ribs on the valve covers, but they are larger than expected.

This will get the job done. I figured that a little mix wouldn't do, how wrong I was. With the right preparation, you could probably polish 3 4X8 foot aluminum sheets. No kidding, a lot when put together. Lots of mixed polishing wheels. This is a good set if you need a different wheel or are carrying one, they are available almost everywhere. Note that I haven't needed a new wheel yet. I would recommend this set to anyone.

My son asked me to order this set for him. He cleaned rims on his '95 Ford Bronco. He was amazed at how well this kit worked and how easy it was. I myself couldn't believe the difference in his rims after using the cleaning and polishing kit. He had a couple of friends that he showed the discs to and explained the product to, and they both ordered it for their discs. You get your value from this kit. When he was done, his rim looked like new.

I restore motorcycles, clocks and many other items so I have had the opportunity to use this product on many different materials such as brass, aluminum and steel. It worked great on every material I tried it on. Definitely not showroom brilliance quality but close enough to how cheap this set was.
